GSP Café’s successful first regional session in Latin America

This month, we are proud to have launched our sixth session of GSP Café! GSP Café is an interactive discussion led by education industry leaders aimed to share valuable insights from GSP’s study destinations to shed light and share knowledge and insights through lively, engaging and meaningful conversations. After much anticipation, we’re back to hosting exciting discussions tailored to provide insights to GSP’s diverse source markets, starting with Latin America.

Our sixth GSP Café titled, “¡Haz tus sueños realidad!”, was held last 24 August, Thursday 11:00 am (GMT-5) and attended by recruitment partners across Latin America. The session contained engaging topics including study and career opportunities at Clarkson University and how Latin American students can make their way to the United States through MPOWER Financing. It was hosted by our very own GSP North America Team led by Director Patrick Colabucci and Senior Partnerships Manager Catherine Wilson. The main presenters were Antonina Sequeira, representative of MPower Financing and Colleen Thapalia, Executive Director of Graduate Recruitment and Enrollment Marketing at Clarkson University.

The session was very productive and turned out to be a great hit. The 45-minute discussion was full of valuable information that gave attendees insight into student life and education at Clarkson University, various MBA and STEM programs, and ways to fund their studies. It ended with a question and answer session to make sure that any of the attendees’ questions and concerns can be clarified.

With the first return of GSP Cafe turning out to be a success, we cannot wait to host the next session in September! Next month’s session is for the Africa and Turkey region, and is titled “Empower Your Dreams: Study in the US with MPower Finance, University of Louisville and Global Study Partners. Discover Loan-based Funding Opportunities for your Students!”. Here, we will discuss financing options for students planning to study MBA and STEM programs. Our main presenters will be Paul Hofmann, Assistant Vice President for International Affairs from the University of Louisville, and Munya Chiura, Head of Africa Business Development from MPOWER Financing.

Join us in our next session. See you on 6 September!
