The University of Louisville in Kentucky recently signed a partnership agreement with Global Study Partners and offers eligible students, for a limited time, more affordable tuition fees equivalent to the FY24 resident tuition for graduate students pursuing in-person master’s degrees in Engineering.
Located in Kentucky’s largest metropolitan area, the University of Louisville is one of the United States’ first city-owned and state-supported research universities offering a wide range of programs across its 12 colleges and schools which include: the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, J. B. Speed School of Engineering, School of Dentistry, and the School of Medicine. The UofL is also known for its excellent STEM programs in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and Data Science which have produced numerous groundbreaking discoveries and innovations. With 97% of graduates finding jobs within 90 days and the three-year OPT options, the university continues to attract a diverse mix of international students.
Known as the regional economic and cultural hub of 24 surrounding counties in Kentucky and Southern Indiana, Louisville’s strategic location is home to globally recognised companies, including UPS Worldport, Clariant Corporation, Ford Motor Company, GE, Yum Brands!, Humana, Brown-Forman, and Texas Roadhouse. Growth in tech jobs increased by 28% in Greater Louisville, one of the fastest growth rates among its peer cities and above national average from 2015-2019.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the University of Louisville and offer this incredible opportunity to international students,” says Pat Colabucci, GSP’s Director International for North America. This partnership is a significant milestone for GSP and underscores the growing demand for quality education in the US among international students. “This is a tremendous opportunity for students looking to study in the United States. Many of UofL’s academic staff have been recipients of the prestigious Fullbright scholarships. The opportunity to learn from such great minds in a thriving location where the cost of living is lower than average. UofL ticks every box on many international students’ wish list.” Pat adds.
UofL is home to more than 23,000 students and is one of the 69 R1 universities awarded by the Carnegie Foundation to universities with very high research activities. Additionally, UofL has been named, for the eighth year, a Higher Education Excellence in Diversity Awardee by the Insight into Diversity magazine.
This latest partnership provides international students more options and access to some of the United States’ leading higher education providers. For more information on partnering with GSP and to explore these options, please contact: gspna@upgradgsp.com
